Where to find ROA street art in London

Belgian artist ROA is a regular visitor to London and his work is some of the most recognisable around.

His black and white portraits of animals and birds are usually quite large in scale and look like giant intricate sketches on the wall.  These are not docile drawings and always interact in some way with the environment around them.  The art itself paying homage to it’s surroundings.

He has painted all over the world but London is by far one of the best places to catch glimpses of his work.

This post therefore will outline some of the best places to spot ROA street art in the city.

Update – 5 July 2014

ROA returned to the city to paint a giant flea on Leonard Street in Shoreditch. It was a bit of a last hurrah for the site because shortly afterwards hoardings went up and redevelopment started. The flea can be seen though from Ravey Street.
